very sad and disheartening to see no news or talk about 4K Channels in India for FIFA World cup.

Don’t expect that much 4k in dth before 10 years .we still don’t have all channels in full hd ,with some only 720 p hd .

I think global standard is 1080i or 720P.

Purchased tata sky 4k leaving AIRTEL HD+ in the hope that FIFA WORLD CUP will be telecasted in 4K at least.. but no.. TS seems in no contention for that.. Now I will throw this TS 4K box..

Why blame TS ??? Only if broadcaster airs it in 4K, TS can broadcast it.

If u see clearly it says * for selected matches

And this video is of media net which is a company in Maldives, not India. Sony India doesnt have a 4K channel, they may have abroad.

Sony broadcasted Euro 2016 selected matches 4K and TS showcased it, they might have suffered loss due to high production cost involved & less revenue, that's why Sony decided not to show WC in 4K
