guys is it necessary to have an external speaker to get Dolby sound.? My TV supports both dolby digital and dolby digital plus. I asked sony CC abt this and they told me you can get, no need to connect external reciever.
But in my TV settings Dolby section is greyed out, and only stereo can be selected.

when i select Dolby Digital / Plus in DTH box i lose control of volume over remote. It stands on a specific sound. cant be increased or decreased.
