I am giving a random guess but maybe soon Airtel Digital TV will soon migrate all or just HD channels to HEVC compression format which shall help them further optimize use of bandwidth available for expanding channel addition..... Already Airtel Digital TV has been providing HEVC compatible HD Boxes since long time so not much field work would be required to change remaining few MPEG4 Boxes installed at customer premise....Also i think very few people would now be having SD boxes and if so Airtel may decide to migrate all channels to HEVC compression format.

To enhance bandwidth capacity already Airtel Digital TV has employed advanced decoders and above step will further help address this issue thereby reducing the need for waiting/depending on acquiring or leasing new transponders to expand its service offering

Please note Airtel Music Audio/Video channels is not available on XStream Smart Android Box as maybe inbuilt product designing of these hybrid boxes is such that they do not support /incompatible with services which have multi window set up / layout.....on Tata Play Binge Box too Tata Play Music service is not available

For Airtel XStream Smart Android Box a special Airtel Playlist video channel has been launched which features mix of International, Hindi, Punjabi, Indi Pop songs similarly Airtel Divya Darshan service has been made available with Live Feed from each shrine / temple viewable in Full Screen on dedicated LCN and same goes for Airtel Fuschool service where mix of content is played on LCN 444 while on SD / HD boxes these services are available with each sub genre within such channels available in window format.......Tata Play has not made such modifications so equivalent of these service channels are not available on their Binge Smart Android Boxes
Fyi, Airtel Music has been rebranded as Airtel Playlist for all the customers, it's not a exclusive/special service for just xstream box users.

Thanks for sharing this information buddy but as i am not using my 2ndary HD box since last few months so cannot confirm the same ....last i checked Airtel Playlist was exclusive service for XStream Smart Android Box users while Airtel Music continued to be available for SD / HD box users.......Also i have seen Airtel Music promos playing on Home Channels few weeks back so still i am not sure if what u r saying holds true,,request u to please share screenshot to validate ur statement.

Anyways name change happened for all users/box types or not still the format in which this service is available on SD / HD boxes vs XStream remains to be different and same holds true for other 2 service channels i mentioned 🙏

Buddy, please read the posts below the 1st one as name was also reverted back to Airtel Music later on and same was seen on SD / HD boxes..... Actually as they launched Airtel Playlist service for XStream STB users so during testing they would have made the change applicable across all boxes thereby later correcting the same, please check once more for current status
