General Discussion about Airtel Digital TV

Star India launch two premium sports channel star sports HD 1 and HD 2 on first week of august. I have doubt Airtel HV capacity to add channel using SES 7 satellite or they added SES 9 from August.Star is wating launch of HD channel for two months. Star sports HD advt start almost two month. Maa TV started upload HD videos in hot star.

What is the use of these BAT updates when from 4 months they haven't added a single ROI HD channel.

Neither they are getting approvals to use SES 9,I am even Suspicious that whether they would even add Star Sports Select HD 1 & 2 on launch date or not because they haven't been active in adding ROI HD channels from Star and Viacom on launch dates like SMS HD,CI HD,FX HD :u

dont think adtv can add more HD unless they get new tp's.
maybe 2/3 Zee Regional HD would be added when launched before they got new tps. otherwise no more hope.

Airtel has created 2 topups
1 for Miniplex HD at Rs.1 for 30 days and Rs.2 dbr from second month.
2 for Miniplex SD at Rs.1 for 30 days and  Rs.2 dbr from second month.

It's a Sunday offer but not yet confirmed if it's for this week.
