Good Signal Quality = Good Picture Quality?

By D2H service engineer. I don't know what he did in just a minute. I tried for hours yesterday. He changed dish position by a fraction and also changed DiseqC and other settings.
 
yeah saw that few hours back. i do not know why u r ettin poor picture quality, are pixels cracking in ur picture, if yes then get ur lnb checked
 
also why is deseqc open, it should b set to off. are u living in a society having single dish
 
There are no pixels cracking. Its just that VideoconHD quality is a higlly compressed MPEG transmission. TataSky HD is crystal clear because they have lesser HD channels and lower compressed transmission.

I don't know what all those settings like dseqc mean. I live in a village and there aren't many dishes around here. :)
 
well the signal strength looks good. Do u find a haziness in the picture with bluish tint sort of thing on all SD channels
 
The SD channels are fine. No bluish tint or anything. They just look more compressed (poor quality) than TataSky.
