Videocon d2h is surely compressing higher than TataSky. I can see the difference with my own eyes.

Even the engineer said this to me when he came today to fix the signal quality.

well tata sky comprsses more but it use deblocking to dissolve pixels

@dino29 whatever the technology TS using is dosnt matter to anyone. no one will ask about that.ultimately, what a customer needs is the good PQ.we got this in TS.so thats fine.

Ok.. i don't know what happened but now I feel the picture quality of HD channels has improved a lot.

Maybe it was the signal???

Now I can say VideoconD2H HD channel quality is as good as TataSky HD.

He changed the transponder setting to 11483 (H) from 11483 (V) and then moved the dish maybe vertically up a bit.

I really don't know as he did it in seconds as if he already knew everything. I was unable to notice he was so fast. :huh
