What is the use nothing they won't listen they will say "The rabbit i catch having only 3 legs" :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::mad::mad::(:(:cautious::cautious:
yes bro,
Exactly..
i received similar answers from them many times....
no wonder
if they say"The rabbit i catch is actually flying"
i personally feel state owned departments, like bsnl cc is slightly better than them.

I got a call from them. They don't have a clue of what I'm talking about. And they don't have the back end team details either who can work on this issue. They said they can send a technician to my house to check the issue and that's it, if there is any issue with the STB or anything the technician can help. Otherwise, what I understood is they can't do anything. So, it's a dead end!! Hmm, So this is probably why Sun Direct can't have customers with Advanced knowledge on Sound/Picture etc,.
Audio quality was good until they've changed it to DD+
Ok. I did a deeper level of testing today. So basically the issue is with the surround speakers volume. Everything else is working as desired. Center, both the Fronts and Sub are producing proper sound according to the source. They just need to increase the volume of Surround Speakers and it'll be fine. Right now I have kept the surround speakers volume at maximum on my home theater to overcome this issue. It's fine for me now. However, I'll write to the customer care and see what they can do!!!
This is not just about the volume, it's about the audio bitrate, even if you increase the volume you won't get the quality!

I got a call from the field team yesterday evening and they are more knowledgeable than the customer care people. They said they will send a guy today for checking the issue. Even before that, this morning I got another call from them. They said the issue is known one and faced by other customers too. They checked with the technical team and asked me to try with Optical cable. It looks like the issue is specific to the HDMI output. Also as promised, they sent the man today and he verified the settings to make sure I'm doing everything right. I shown him the issue and he acknowledged.

I must say that I'm impressed with the Sun Direct field level customer care. They are very prompt. As soon as I dropped the email, I got a call from the cc guy as dumb as he may be. And he promptly forwarded the issue to the field team and they contacted me almost immediately. They are trying to resolve the issue through multiple options which is nice to see.

Meanwhile, I have ordered an optical cable which will arrive tomorrow. I will try with that cable and see if that fixes the issue. Fingers crossed!!

Good to hear bro,On hearing the issue yesterday felt really bad and for a moment thought they might not have any resolution Glad that they are trying something to resolve.

Since they are in the TV Distrubution for a longer time, hope they maintain some Standard on par with other DTH operators.

ilikered, can you please check how much signal quality you're getting on SD & HD channels?

Is it around 50 to 60 % or greater than 70% ?
