Animax Asia february 2024 lineup of anime series show promos

Toonami usa ( swim segment of Cartoon network USA ) 24th February 2024 anime lineup & timings

Looks like Animax Asia is going to get shutdown soon. There has been no new shows on channel since 9 months, plus no more promos with Narator. Looks like they will shift anime which they've licenses on GEM Via Animax Block. It's understandable, Animax is not able to earn money in age of heavy OTT platforms and free animes available on Muse Asia and Ani-One YouTube Channel.

Anyone notice Animax Korea is totally different channel.. they airing kids anime and cartoons....

Yes Animax Korea airs Korean cartoons in day and animes at late night.

KC Global Media sold Animax Korea to Aniplus last year.

would Aniplus in future have collaboration with Animax in remaining countries , together both of them might get better at market as anilplus have rights for some new anime series.

No, Aniplus don't have interest in TV channel business except South Korea, recently Aniplus is pulling off TV channel, last year got shutdown in Philippines. Aniplus Asia TV channel is now left only in Singapore and Indonesia.

Aniplus is distributor, unlike Animax. They don't depend on content on Muse or Ani-One suppliers. They buy themselves and distribute content to OTT platforms also. Recently they've launched Laftel App to compete against Crunchyroll, Bilibili and other OTT apps in Southeast Asia.

Aniplus knows there is no point in buying dying TV Channel. Sony knew the future, that's why they sold their SEA channels.

Then in future only Animax Japan & Animax India might remain .

Sony sold Animax Japan and Kids Station Japan to Nojima Corporation.

They might at worst veer a little the programming, maybe add some hosted shows.
