Good to see Netflix & Amazon bidding. We can finally experience matches with decent bitrate.

I'm not expecting Netflix bidding for anything.. They are against sports streaming as they are riddled with commercials, even during the last month when asked regd bidding for any sports globally, Ted Serandos, the CO-CEO and CCO of Netflix said they aren't interested in any sporting properties as they don't see them adding any value to them..Good to see Netflix & Amazon bidding. Netflix can't inflow the huge amount of money, It is rapidly losing subscribers in its home market so the money. I doubt if people will buy such expensive packs in India. It looks more like a marketing gimmick.
IPL upcoming digital rights will be mostly sharing basis by 2 OTT apps as digital cost might touch sky high.If Netflix gets digital rights, it will indirectly benefit the TV broadcaster as many wont be subscribing the costly netflix packs and instead go for a cable/DTH viewing.
