The way some of these BCCI officials are causally quoting figures of 40-45000 Cr. for the media rights seems so stupid to me.They are adding 500 Cr. every day just like that.
At best the rights would touch 30,000 Cr. given the increase in number of teams and thus the matches. But anything above this figure would be a suicide even for a huge Network like Star.

If Amazon prime acquires streaming rights it will end of Premium Ad Free subscription in prime video India
Not sure how you came to this conclusion.

Amazon has Sports rights in European markets, for some leagues they put it behind paywall inside Prime Video and some are given along with monthly or yearly subscription with ads and their library content is free from Ads.

No one can stream live matches without ads. Unit economics doesn't support a profitable business model.

I think 2 different networks will get the rights N18 sports will get the TV rights with Uday Sankar coming in and Reliance wanting to make an entry in sports TV broadcast(hope they change the name of the channel though)

while disney will make sure whatever happens Disney+ Hotstar will retain the digital rights coz quite honestly even though Voot is good its not upto Disney Hotstar and Zee5 or Sony Liv is both pathetic so only person Star really have to worry about in digital space is Amazon Prime which I think they will do

Cricket has given the US media corporation the kind of traction that'll be shattering to lose, if they do, in the upcoming auction. And that is why, Disney will go "all out" to retain cricket rights in the Indian sub-continent over the coming months, starting most importantly with the IPL.

Sony bid high last time as well but they did just for Indian TV rights, Star Instead bid high only for Consolidated Package, they wanted all or nothing, Bidding high for Consolidated package in a way makes sense as one can sell individual territorial rights, But bidding high just for Indian Tv rights and then expecting returns just by local broadcast, it's too much of an ask, also, being a global broadcast and digital rights holder enables one to have a say in production and graphics.

That's why many people subscribed Amazon prime in India, also in social media so many people expecting IPL on prime video because they're thinking Amazon will not air ads, but fact is if Amazon acquires IPL streaming rights it will sure won't work in India, they don't have huge Subscribers like Hotstar platform

What happens to customer base when the biggest reason they actually subscribed to moves away to a different platform? Amazon even has a better and bigger bollywood and original collection.
