If so, then Star Sports is enough. Shows 24 × 7 ipl throughout the year.

It seems BCCI might conclude IPL media rights auction before Sony-Zee merger.

Reason is BCCI want IPL Media Rights sold huge amount before ICC media Rights Auction, if ICC media Rights sold before IPL media Rights then less bidding war and huge loss to BCCI, So it's clear Media Rights war of ICC vs BCCI

Sony max coverage that's all time best, that's the tiger during wc 2003 haven't seen anything like these innovations in star, Also Mandira bedi telecasting extraa innings was game changer for sony

Graphics set of Star Sports have degraded considerably since the exit of ESPN. They don't even have quality pre-match / post-match shows like Harsha Bhogle used to host during 1990s & 2000s. On the contrary, Sony started poorly in 2016 (India tour of Sri Lanka) but have now improved massively. They have in-house shows for all major events and graphics are also superb. Its just their logo s*cks big time.

As far as I remember Star have changed the graphics from the April phase, although its still ugly as usual.

This year's IPL graphics is too dark. It hurts my eyes. I say many people complaining about it on twitter. They still didn't do anything about it.

All 3 big broadcasters can win. If they go for one out of ICC, BCCI and IPL rights at reasonable rates. Even ICC rights which were not ideal because of time zones and weather is a big draw here. Because of it taking place in India during fall no less.
