Bejoy Nambiar-Dulquer Salman movie titled 'Solo'...

Malayali director and scenarist Bejoy Nambiar, who has made several Bollywood films, will next direct Dulquer Salman. The movie is titled 'Solo'.

The movie is produced jointly by Bejoy's own production film Getaway Films and Abam Films.
Bejoy Nambiar made his feature film debut with the thriller 'Shaitan' (2011). His second movie was a bilingual gangster-comedy film called 'David'. His latest Bollywood flick was Amitabh Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar starrer 'Wazir' (2016).

Dulquer Salman is now in the sets of Satyan Anthikkad's 'Jomonte Suvisheshangal'.

Jayasurya next in a sports drama...

Jayasurya will play the protagonist in the sports film titled 'Captain'. The movie is based on Malayali and former Indian football team captain V P Satyan's life.

'Captain' is directed by Prajesh Sen, who has assisted ace director Siddique. Jayasurya is seen in three varied getups in the movie.

The movie which is estimated to have a budget of Rs 10 crores is produced under the banner Goodwill Entertainments by T L George.

Bollywood sports movies 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' and 'M S Dhoni: The Untold Story' were both hits. 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' is another sports biographical film directed by James Erskine and produced by Ravi Bhagchandka, based on the life of cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, which is to be released soon.

Pulimurugan: Here Is What Mammootty Said After Watching The Movie...!

Mammootty and Mohanlal are probably, the only superstars of Indian cinema, who have always maintained good relationships with each other. They both have been the best of friends, since their arrival in the industry.

Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan is creating waves at Kerala box office and reportedly, actor Mammootty has watched the movie too. This was disclosed by actor Kunjan in an interview given to a popular magazine.

In fact, Mammootty is one such actor who never misses out quality movies. Reportedly, Kunjan, who is a good friend and also a neighbour of Mammootty, watched Pulimurugan along with the Megastar. Both of them watched the movie in the home theatre at Mammootty's residence in Panambilly Nagar, Kochi.


Kunjan stated that Mammootty seemingly enjoyed the movie a lot, as the responses from the actor was good while watching the movie. According to Kunjan, Mammootty even went on to say that only Mohanlal could do such things.

Well, all the fans of Mammootty and Mohanlal, who are always at loggerheads must learn from the stars about the mutual respect and admiration that they hold.

Interestingly, Mammootty's Thoppil Joppan and Mohanlal's Pulimurugan were released on the same day and it paved way for an epic clash at the box office.

Meera Jasmine, Kunchacko Boban join Poomaram cast...

Abrid Shine has never been one to cast predictable faces in his films; his last film, Action Hero Biju, had commoners and first timers in most of its roles, leading to some of them becoming famous, in fact. It looks like Abrid is going to repeat the same in his next film Poomaram, a campus story. The film already made news as the director chose Kalidas Jayaram as its hero, marking his debut in Malayalam.
The latest we hear is that Kunchacko Boban and Meera Jasmine will be joining the cast. However, the director is not willing to reveal details about their roles, as it might reveal the story. "Both of them have small roles in the film, but the characters are of significance. I can't say anything more at this point." And what about the lead actress in the film? "There is no one lead actress. The story is about a group of students and there will be around 30-35 girls. Each one is equally important," he says. The shoot of the film is progressing. And how is Kalidas doing in his debut movie? "He is doing really well. I'm quite happy about the way the film is progressing,"' he says.
Meanwhile reports say that Kunchacko could very well be appearing as himself in the movie. Well, let's wait and watch!

'Team 5' trailer out...

The trailer of the movie 'Team 5' featuring cricketer Sreeshanth in the lead role is released. Nikki Galrani is the heroine.

'Team 5' is written and directed by Suresh Govind and produced by Raj Zacharias under the banner of Celebs and Red Carpet. Gopi Sunder is the music director.

'Team 5' is the story of five bike riders trained in bike stunting. The movie is a sports action thriller in which Sreeshanth does the character Akhil. Babu Antony, Ashkar Ali, Pearle Maaney, Rajeev Rangan, and Manju also do prominent roles.

Kattappanayile Hrithik Rosshen' trailer released...

The trailer of 'Kattappanayile Hrithik Rosshen', Nadirshah's next film after 'Amar Akbar Anthony', is released. One of the scenarists of 'Amar Akbar Anthony' Vishnu Unnikirishnan does the lead role in the film.

'Kattappanayile Hrithik Rosshen' is a comedy entertainer which tells the story of a young man who wishes to be a film actor.

Prayaga Martin and Lijomol are the heroines. Salim Kumar, Siddique, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Siju Wilson, and Jaffer Idukki play the other important roles.

'Ore Mugham' teaser released...

The official teaser of the film 'Ore Mugham' is released. The movie directed by debutant Sajith Jagadnandan features Dhyan Sreenivasan and Aju Varghese in the main roles.

'Ore Mugham' is a thriller narrated through two stages of life, the first of which is a campus story of the 1980s. There is also a good amount of romance and humor. The script is penned by Deepu and Sandeep.

Prayaga Martin is the heroine. Abhirami, Gayatri Suresh, Orma Bose, Renji Panicker, and Maniyanpilla Raju do prominent roles.

Ratheesh Vega turns assistant director...!

Music director Ratheesh Vega joins the bandwagon of talents who are lining up to assist established filmmakers in Mollywood. The music composer will don the hat of an assistant director in Anil Radhakrishnan Menon's next.
On his new challenge, Ratheesh says, "I have always wanted to do something extra apart from composing music in films. Also, I share a good camaraderie with Anil so it's a golden opportunity."
He would also serve as the music director for the film. "Being an assistant director would also flesh out what's required in the music department, especially in the upcoming movie," he says.
Anil Radhakrishnan Menon has announced two projects already - one with Fahadh Faasil in the lead and another that will be scripted by Kozhikode collector Prasanth Nair.

Prithviraj introduces two playback singers - Prarthana Indrajith and Nakshatra Indrajith - daughters of Indrajith-Poornima couple - making their entry into the industry as playback singers.

'My Story' is a romantic musical film which has Portugal as the main location. Parvathy is the heroine and Hollywood actor Roger Narayan is the antagonist.
