Vinay Forrt’s Next Gets An Interesting Title...

Vinay Forrt, is one such actor in Mollywood, who has proved his ability as a character actor as well as a lead actor. He has been choosy about the projects that he commits, especially the films in which he dons the lead role.Reportedly, the actor has signed his next project in which he would be seen in the lead role. The film, has been titled as Solomonte Uthamageetham and the upcoming movie will be directed by debutante Aneev Sukumar.

Interestingly, the actor would be seen in a very different role in this film. Vinay Forrt would play the role of an ATM security guard in this movie, which has been scripted by Krishna Poojappura. Krishnan Poojappura and Vinay Forrt had earlier associated for the film Hello Namasthe.

According to the reports, the film would go on floors by January, next year. Nothing much has been revealed about the rest of the cast of the film.Meanwhile, Vinay Forrt will be seen playing an important role in Dileep's upcoming movie Georgettan's Pooram, which is expected to hit the theatres in January. He also plays an important role in Fahadh Faasil starrer Role Models. He will also be seen in the lead role in the upcoming film Godsey, directed by Sherrey and Shyju Govindan.

Pulimurugan Box Office: Crosses 125-Crore Mark...

Pulimurugan, the action thriller which stars Mohanlal in the titular role, has already emerged as the highest grossing Malayalam movie of all time. Now, the movie directed by Vysakh has set another box office record.

Interestingly, Pulimurugan has now become the first 125 Crore movie of our industry. The crew member and trade analysts recently confirmed that the movie has crossed the prestigious 125-Crore mark at the box office.

Even though the detailed collection report is yet to be revealed, the reliable sources suggest that the movie collected more than 125 Crores, when considering the worldwide collections and pre-release business.

As per the latest updates, the movie has emerged as the 9th highest grossing Indian movie of UAE-GCC region. When it completed the first 26 days, the movie had made a total gross collection of more than 30 Crores.

It is the only South Indian movie, which entered the top 10 highest grossing Indian movies list of UAE-GCC box office. Pulimurugan has collected 21.20 Crores from the UAE box office alone.

Now, it has almost been confirmed that the Mohanlal movie will enter the 150 Crore club, very soon. The team members are glad that the note ban and surrounding issues doesn't affect Pulimurugan much.

Sreenivasan in 'Kallai FM'...

Kallai FM' is a movie centered on popular singer Muhammed Rafi. The movie is written and directed by Vineesh Millenium. Sreenivasan plays the lead role.

'Kallai FM' narrates the story of Ceylon Bappu, a radio operator and great fan of Muhammed Rafi. The movie also features Sreenath Bhasi, Kalabhavan Shajon, Kottayam Nazeer, Aneesh G Menon, Sunil Sugatha, Vijilesh, Vijayan V Nair, Nithin, Parvathy Ratheesh, and Krishnaprabha.
'Kallai FM' is produced by Shahjahan Oasis under the banner of Oasis Group.

Sivaji Guruvayoor's son turns hero...

Well known actor Sivaji Guruvayoor's son Manu Sivaji turns hero in the movie 'Samadhanathinte Vellaripravukal'. The movie is written and directed by debutant Nitheesh K Nair.

New face Aryadevi is the heroine. Boban Alummoodan, Sivaji Guruvayoor, Kochupreman, Babu Swami, Nandakishore, E R Premananda Iyer, Pushparaj, Kumar Mankada, Anu Joseph, and Kanakalatha also include the cast.

In the banner of A D Films, 'Samadhanathinte Vellaripravukal' is produced by K Praveen Kumar. The script and dialogues are written by E R Premananda Iyer. Renjith Siva handles the camera. Sneha Jyothi is the music director.

The post production works of the movie 'Kappiri Thuruthu' is progressing. Adil Ibrahim and Pearle Maaney do the main roles.

'Kappiri Thuruthu' is the debut directorial venture of Saheer Ali. Lal, Indrans, Siddique, Sivaji Guruvayoor, S P Sreekumar, Sunil Sugatha, Harish Kanaran, Rajesh Varma, Rajeev Kalamasserry, K B Venu, Babu Pallasserry, and Surabhi also include the main cast.

Praveen Chakrapani is the cinematographer. 'Kappiri Thuruthu' is produced by Ahmed Palapparambil under the banner of 20 20 Movie International.

'Gold Coins' getting ready...

'Gold Coins' is getting ready for release. The movie is written and directed by debutant Pramod Gopal. Sunny Wayne and Meera Nandan play the main roles.

Saikumar, Tessa, Pashanam Shaji, Dr Amar, Anoop Chandran along with a group of around 60 children play important roles.

'10 Kalpanakal' from November 25th...

'10 Kalpanakal', the debut directorial venture of Editor Don Max hits theaters on November 25th. Anoop Menon and Meera Jasmine play the main roles.

Anoop Menon does forest officer Davis George. Meera Jasmine does the role of a police officer named Shaziya Akbar IPS. She also croons a song in this movie.

Kaniha, Anumol, Prasanth Narayanan, Maniyanpilla Raju, Thamby Antony, and Joju George play the other prominent roles. The movie is produced under the banner of Shutter Bugs Entertainment.

Ore Mukham Release Postponed Again...

Ore Mukham, the suspense thriller which stars Dhyan Sreenivasan in the lead role, was expected to hit the theatres today (November 24). But, the release of Ore Mukham has been postponed once again.
The team announced the news through the official Facebook page of the movie recently. According to the team, the release has been postponed due to some unexpected issues with the censorship.

Reportedly, the censored copy of Ore Mukham will only get released by November 25 evening. So, the team decided to push the release further. The new release date is expected to be announced soon.

Ore Mukham was initiallywas slated to release on November 18, but got postponed due to the note ban issue. If the reports are to be true, the movie will get released by the first week of December.

Ore Mukham, which is directed by debutant Sajith Jagadnandan, is written by Deepu S Nair and Sandeep Sadanandan. Prayaga Martin and Jewel Mary essay the female leads in the movie.

Biju Menon to team up with Jeethu Joseph...

The Malayali audience have always lapped up interesting tales of 'legendary robbers' like Kayamkulam Kochunni and Ithikkara Pakki. At a time when the stories of their 'feats' are gaining popularity again in Mollywood, director Jeethu Joseph is also planning a movie on the lines, with Biju Menon in the lead. The project is based on the book Thaskaran: Maniyan Pillayude Athmakadha, which is about the Kollam-based eponymous robber of the 80s, who is now known to be a reformed man. G R Indugopan, who authored the biography of Maniyan Pillai, scripts the film.
Director Jeethu Joseph says, "Yes, the project is on, but we have not decided on a timeline during which it would go on floors. Currently, the scripting work is progressing and I am busy with a few other films, including the one that stars Pranav Mohanlal in the lead."
Does that mean the movie can be delayed by at least a year? "No," says Jeethu, clarifying further. "If the script gets ready, we might even go ahead with the movie without much delay. But we aren't at a stage when more of details about the project can be confirmed," says the director.

Ranjith Sankar Announces His Next Directorial Venture...

Ranjith Sankar, is one such talented film-maker who has had the guts to try films of different genres. His most recent film Pretham, which had Jayasurya in the lead role, was in the lines of a horror comedy and he came out successful in that genre, as well.Now, the director has announced his next project and the movie has got an interesting title. His upcoming directorial venture has been titled as Ramante Edenthottam and this time the director has opted for a film romance genre.

Ranjith Sankar took to Facebook to make an official announcement regarding the same. The director also shared the first look poster of the film along with it.
On his Facebook post, he has stated that this is a genre which he has been waiting to do since a long time. The upcoming venture would be produced under the banner of Dreams N Beyond, jointly owned by Jayasurya and Ranjith Sankar. His previous venture, Pretham, was also produced under the same banner.Nothing much has been revealed about the cast and crew of the film. The director is expected to make an announcement regarding the same soon.
