The shooting of 'The Great Father' wrapped up. Mammootty's 'The Great Father' is an action thriller directed by debutant Haneef Adeni.

Mammootty does the character named David Naina. Sneha plays Mammootty's heroine. Her character is named Michelle David. Arya also does a significant role. Shyam, Malavika, I M Vijayan, Baby Anikha, and Manikantan play the other major roles.

'The Great Father' is produced by Prithviraj, Santhosh Sivan, Shaji Nadesan, and Arya under the banner of August Cinema.

'Alamaara' shoot in progress...

The shooting of Midhun Manuel Thomas' next after the hit movie 'Annmariya Kalippilane', titled 'Alamaara' is progressing in Bangalore and Kochi.

'Alamaara' is a family comedy entertainer which revolves around an alamaara gifted to the couple by the bride's parents on the third day after marriage.

The script is penned by John Manthrikkal. Sunny Wayne, Aju Varghese, Renji Panicker, Saiju Kurup, Manikantan, Saddique, Sudhi Koppa, Aditi Ravi, Manju Satheesh, and Seema G Nair do the important roles.

The camera is handled by Satheesh Kurup. Sooraj S Kurup is the music director. 'Alamaara' is produced by Full On Movies.

Dulquer Salman-Amal Neerad movie second schedule in Mexico...

Amal Neerad's new movie with Dulquer Salman in the lead role started its second schedule shoot at Mexico. US is the main location for the second schedule. The shooting in Monterrey, Mexico had the background score by Mexican music band Mariachi.

"Restarted shoot for Amalettan's next in beautiful Monterrey, Mexico! The wonderful Mariachi band set the mood for us throughout the day! Such kind people everywhere we went in Mexico. Really want to visit again" - Dulquer Salman.

The first schedule shoot was at Kottayam and Pala. Dulquer Salman plays Aji Mathew from Pala. The script is written by Shibin Francis.

Cinematographer C K Muralidharan's daughter Karthika is the heroine. Siddique, Soubin Shahir and Dileesh Pothen also do prominent roles.

The untitled movie is produced under the banner of Amal Neerad Productions. The camera is handled by Renadive. Gopi Sunder is the music director.

Ore Mukham Box Office: 2 Days Kerala Collections...

Dhyan Sreenivasan and Aju Varghese starrer Ore Mukham, directed by Sajith Jagadnandan, which hit the theatres on December 2, 2016 has opened to mixed responses from the audiences.

Reportedly, the film has had a slow start at the Kerala box office. According to certain reports, the film has only managed to gross 75 Lakhs from Kerala within 2 days of its run, which is just an average start considering the fact that no other big movies were released on the same day.

In fact, Ore Mukham did hit the theatres on Decemebr 02, 2016, after multiple postponements. Initial few shows of the movie were cancelled on the release day, due to some technical reasons and the film started screening in majority of the centres by Friday evening. This delay did affect the first day collections of the movie upto some extent.

The reviews were also not that favourable for Ore Mukham. Audiences have blamed the pace of the movie and some cliched sequences as the low point of the movie. At the same time, some good words also came in for the climax sequences of the film.

Meanwhile, some good reviews are now pouring in for the movie after the initial negative reviews. We have to wait and see whether this would help the movie in the coming days.

Ore Mukham, which is in the lines of a thriller, also features actors like Chemban Vinod Jose, Jewel Mary,Maniyanpilla Raju, Abhirami, Deepak Parambol, Prayaga Martin, Gayathri suresh, Hareesh Perady etc., in important roles.

Dileep-Arun Gopi Project Gets A Title...

Dileep, the janapriyanayakan of Malayalam movie industry, is all set to team up with debutante Arun Gopi for a political thriller. The team recently revealed the title of the highly anticipated project.Interestingly, the movie which is produced by Tomichan Mulakupadam for Mulakupadam Films, has been titled as Ramaleela. Tomichan's recent production venture Pulimurugan has emerged as the highest ever grosser of Malayalam cinema.Ramaleela, which is scripted by the popular writer-director Sachy, will have Dileep in the role a young, energetic MLA. The actor has earlier appeared as a MLA in the Joshiy directed superhit movie, Lion.

Interestingly, the movie will also mark the Mollywood comeback of veteran actress Radhika Sarathkumar, after a long gap of 23 years. As per the reports, Radhika will appear as Dileep's mother in the movie.The movie, which is said to be an intense political thriller with a touch of humour will have young actress Prayaga Martin in the female lead. Mohanlal's Next Is With B Unnikrishnan...

The team of Mohanlal and B Unnikrishnan has given us some memorable movies in the past and now the same team is all set to reunite for an upcoming project, which would be a big budget venture.Reportedly, this would be the actor's next project, after his film with Major Ravi, which has been titled as 1971 Beyond Borders. The yet-to-be-titled film with B Unnikrishnan would go on floors in January 2017.

Earlier, there were speculations that B Unnikrishnan might direct Mohanlal in an upcoming project. But, no confirmations were given regarding the same. Now, the director has come forward to give a confirmation regarding their next association. B Unnikrishnan took to Facebook to officially announce this project.

It is after a break that B Unnikrishnan is getting back to direction. He has stated that it took close to two and a half years for him to complete the script of this upcoming movie. According to hime, the film would make it to the theatres in May 2017. Further deatils about the project will be revealed in the coming days.Interestingly, the upcoming venture would mark the fourth association of the actor and the director. 10 Kalpanakal Box Office: 8 Days Kerala Collections...

10 Kalpanakal, the Anoop Menon-Meera Jasmine movie hit the theatres on November 25th, Friday. The movie, which marked the directorial debut of editor Don Max, has been receiving a lukewarm response from all over.
According to the latest reports from the trade analysts, 10 Kalpanakal has made a total gross collection of 1.78 Crores from the Kerala box office, within the first 8 days of its theatrical run.

Sadly, the movie had a very poor opening at the box office and has now been declared as a flop. The demonetization issue and ineffective promotional strategies have badly affected the performance of 10 Kalpanakal.

The movie marked the comeback of National award-winning actress Meera Jasmine into Mollywood, after a short hiatus. The actress essayed the role of a police officer for the first time in her career, in 10 Kalpanakal.

Even though the movie had initially raised the expectations among the audiences with its promising star cast and trailer, it couldn't meet the expectations of the audiences. 10 Kalpanakal received mixed reviews from the critics.

Jayasurya's Fukri: The Release Date Is Out...

Jayasurya starrer Fukri, directed by veteran film-maker Siddique is one of the most awaited projects of the recent times. The teaser of the film, which was out recently, has seemingly increased the expectations on the movie.
According to the reports, the film is being slated as a big Christmas release. Now, here is an update regarding the release date of the film. If reports are to be believed, Fukri would hit the theatres on December 23, 2016.

Fukri, will fight it out with other Christmas releases like Jomonte Suvisheshangal, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol and Ezra. Fukri has been jointly produced by Siddique, Vysakh Rajan and Jenso Jose under the banner S Talkies.

Prithviraj Turns Villain Once Again...!

Prithviraj, the talented young actor of Mollywood, is one of the rare actors who absolutely not worried about their onscreen image. Now, Prithviraj is all set to play a villain, once again.
As we all know, the actor is playing a back in Bollywood, with the upcoming movie Naam Shabana, the prequel of the blockbuster movie Baby. Reportedly, Prithvi is playing the main antagonist in the movie.

Naam Shabana, which is directed by Shivam Nair, stars Tapsee Pannu in the titular role. Akshay Kumar, who essayed the lead role in Baby, is also making a special appearance in the movie.
