Mammootty to train teachers in his next...

Mammootty''s next project, to be helmed by 7th Day director Shyamdhar, will reportedly have him playing a trainer of sorts. The megastar is set to the join the movie after he winds up the schedule of Ranjith's Puthenpannam.
The rumours are that the actor would play a staff in an training school of teachers. The movie is touted to be a family entertainer, which also has Alencier Ley teaming up with Mammootty after Kasaba and Thoppil Joppan last year.

Incidentally, Mammootty would also be playing a college lecturer in his movie, which is directed by Ajai Vasudev. Its scriptwriter Udayakrishna had told us, "It's set in a campus and Mammootty will play a college lecturer. The movie will be an entertainer and we hope to use Mammukka's superstar image to the maximum, in terms of his mannerisms and style."

Biju Menon, Sharu Varghese to team up for Orayiram Kinakkalal...

Biju Menon is one actor who doesn't shy away from working with newbie directors and why would he? Especially when his previous two films by debutants, Vellimoonga and Anuraga Karikkin Vellam were super hits.
The actor will soon be seen in Orayiram Kinakkalal which will be helmed by newcomer Pramod Mohan, who had earlier directed the sitcom, Chumma- Just Fun.

On the movie, the director-cum-scriptwriter says, "Like the title suggests, the film is all about a thousand dreams. The story is based on the dreams of a set of people and the short cuts they take to fulfil it. It is going to be a comedy thriller with a lot of situational humour."
Pramod says that the film's title is a tribute to popular directors Siddique and Lal, whose film Ramji Rao Speaking had featured a song with the lyrics Orayiram Kinakkalal... "My film's genre is similar to their directorial debut Ramji Rao Speaking," he adds.

Biju Menon plays a UK returnee in the movie. "His character Sreeram wants to settle down in Kochi with his wife and four- year-old child. Sharu P Varghese of Mudhugauv fame is the female protagonist in the film."
The movie will go on floors by the end of February 2017 and will be shot extensively at Kochi. "We have an interesting set of cast and a technical team. This includes cinematographer Santosh Anima, music director Ranjith Meleppatt and art director Vinesh Banglan," he says.

Adil Ibrahim aspires to work in Dubai in his upcoming film...

Seems like anchor-turned-actor Adil Ibrahim is all set to hog the limelight in 2017. He had an eventful 2016 — as a successful small screen anchor and with a notable performance in Kappiri Thuruthu. Up next, he is going to be hero in a comedy film, titled Hello Dubaikkaran.
The film directed by Harisree Yusuf and Baburaj Harisree tells the tale of a youngster who aspires to work in Dubai. Having brought up in Dubai in real-life, Adil finds it interesting to enact the role. "I play Prakashan, a 35-year-old simpleton. The story revolves around the happenings in his life when he tries to find a job in Dubai," he says.

Hello Dubaikkaran will see most of the cast and crew of Kattapanayile Rithwik Roshan reuniting to create another entertainer and director Nadirshah will compose music for it.
The movie's co-director Harisree Yusuf, who has also scripted the film, says, "Prakashan is a youngster who grew up in Kerala in the 90s when a lot of people used to go to Middle East seeking new opportunities. After seeing the respect showered on his neighbour Hamsakka, who is an NRI, Prakashan too starts dreaming to be a Dubaikkaran."

Siddique, Salim Kumar, Mammukkoya, Sunil Sugatha and Dharmajan too play pivotal roles in the movie. "The movie has two heroines but we are yet to finalise. The film will start rolling in Kozhikode by mid-January."

We had already told you that Badai Bungalow fame Arya Rohit has joined Honey Bee 2. It seems she is replacing Archana Kavi who had acted as Sara Perera, sister Ambrose Perera aka Ambru essayed by Balu Varghese.
Archana is now in Mumbai happily married to Abhish Mathew and guess she is no plans to return to films. Apparently the sequel of Honey Bee has many other new faces too and is said to be a family entertainer.

REVEALED! Mammootty’s Role In Syam Dhar Movie...

The year 2016 wasn't a great year for Mammootty, but 2017 definitely holds some good prospects for the actor. Mammootty is all set to begin the year on a good note with Seventh Day fame Syam Dhar's second directorial venture.Reportedly, the shoot of the film would begin in the month of January, and here we have an interesting update on the character that Mammootty would portray in the film.

If reports are to be believed, Mammootty would be seen in the role of a teacher in this yet-to-be titled movie. The actor would be seen as a teacher, who works in a training school that trains new teachers. It was in Martin Prakat's Best Actor that Mammootty portrayed the role of a teacher most recently.

Nothing more has been revealed about the character of the actor in the movie. The story of the film is said to be based in the Idukki region and movie will be a perfect family entertainer with humour and solid content.The film has its script written by Ratheesh Ravi. Mohanlal And Vysakh To Join Hands Once Again...

While thinking as if which movie would break the records set by the movie, here is a news that would thrill all Pulimurugan fans. If reports are to be believed, Vysakh would direct Mohanlal once again, in an upcoming film.

Reportedly, Director Vysakh who announced the sequel of Mammootty starrer Pokkiriraja also made it clear that a high voltage mass entertainer featuring Mohanlal in the lead role is under consideration.

If reports are to be believed, the film would be produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner Aashirvaad Cinemas. The film will have its script written by Udaykrishna who had also scripted the recent blockbuster film Pulimurugan.

Meanwhile, director Vysakh has some big projects in his kitty. The director will start the works for his upcoming film Raja 2, which will feature Mammootty in the lead role. The film is expected to go on floors by April 2017.

Apart from that, the film-maker would also be doing films with actors like Jayaram, Dileep, etc.

Recently, Nivin revealed the first look poster of the movie, through his official Facebook page.The simple yet beautifully designed first look poster hints that Hey Jude is a feel good movie. According to Nivin, the movie narrates the story of love, self-discovery, healing, and transformation.The actor also revealed that his character in the movie is a unique and challenging one. Nivin also stated his excitement about sharing the screen with Trisha Krishnan, through his post.

Hey Jude marks the Mollywood debut of Trisha Krishnan, who is one of the most celebrated heroines of Tamil and Telugu industries. The team is yet to reveal the character of Trisha in the film.

As per the reports, Hey Jude will be a very different attempt by Shyamaprasad, which will have no similarities with his earlier ventures. Tovino Thomas & Team Wrap Up Oru "Mexican Aparatha"...

Oru Mexican Aparatha, is an upcoming film, directed by debutant Tom Emmatty and featuring Tovino Thomas in the lead role. The film is one of the highly anticipated movies of 2017.
Now, according to the latest reports, the shoot of the film has been completed. Reportedly, this campus based flick is set in the background of Maharaja's college of the 1970's.

Film-maker Roopesh Peethambaran, who portrays an important role in the movie, took to Facebook to post a status regarding the completion of the shoot of the film.

Apart from Tovino Thomas and Roopesh Peethambaran, the film also features Neeraj Madhav and Gayathri Suresh in important roles. The film also paves way for the entry of a good number of new faces who were selected after auditions.

The film, which deals with campus based politics has been penned by Jude Anthany Joseph. Actors would be seen in different get-ups in the movie.

The promo song of the film sung by Arunraja Kamaraj, which was released earlier, went on to become an instant hit on online circuits. The film produced by Jawan Of Vellimala fame Anoop Kannan, is expected to hit the theatres in this month.

Dulquer’s Salam Bhukari movie is a complete entertainer...

We had already told you that actor Salam Bhukari is all set to do his directorial debut with Dulquer Salman in the lead. The movie which is currently in the pre-production stage has its music composed by Gopi Sunder.
According to the director, the film is a complete entertainer. "DQ movie is a full on fun film which can be enjoyed by all. The film will have him playing a Kochikkaran," says Salam.

He had earlier planned a Dulquer movie, Koya and Koya which was scripted by Om Shanthi Oshana fame director Midhun Manuel Thomas. Unfortunately, it did not happen.

Salaam is known for his roles in the movies 'North 24 Kaatham' and 'Sapthama Sree Thaskaraha'.

Dulquer Salmaan To Join Hands With Vysakh...

Dulquer Salmaan, the charming actor of Mollywood, is the new busy bee of the town. The actor is next joining hands with Vysakh, the Pulimurugan fame director for his upcoming project.
Vysakh himself announced the news in a recent interview given to a popular Malayalam daily. Reportedly, the untitled project, which is said to be a mass entertainer will give an image makeover to Dulquer Salmaan.

The team is yet to finalise the title, female lead, rest of the star cast, and technical crew of the movie, which is expected to start rolling immediately after Vysakh completes his upcoming Mammootty project, Raja 2.

Vysakh, who introduced the 100 and 150 Crore clubs to Mollywood, with his released Mohanlal project Pulimurugan, is one of the most sought after directors in the industry now. He has some highly promising projects in his kitty.

The director is joining hands with Mammootty once again, for the sequel of Pokkiri Raja, which has been titled as Raja 2. Vysakh is teaming up with Mohanlal once again, for another mass entertainer, which will be produced by Aashirvad Cinemas.

He is planning to direct Dileep in the upcoming project produced by the banner Ifar International. Vysakh is also planning a multi-lingual project produced by Gokulam Gopalan's Sree Gokulam Films, with Jayaram in the lead role.

Dulquer Salmaan, on the other hand, is currently busy with the filming of Amal Neerad's upcoming untitled movie. He will next join the second schedule of Bejoy Nambiar's highly anticipated romantic thriller, Solo.
