The makers of 'Jomonte Suviseshangal' are all excited that the film will see it's release on January 19. People, who have been following all the updates on the movie, might know for sure that the trailer has still not been out yet! It looks like this has been planned deliberately by the team of the film, and by opting to take the road less taken in Malayalam film industry.
For now, fans will have to be content with the amusing teaser and the song promos of the tracks 'Nokki Nokki' and 'Neelakasham', until the release.

Mohanlal Was The Only Choice For Ulahannan: Director Jibu Jacob...

Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, the Mohanlal starring family entertainer will hit the theatres on January 20th, Friday. In a recent interview, director Jibu Jacob revealed how the team roped in Mohanlal for the central character Ulahannan.
According to Jibu Jacob, the complete actor was the first and only choice for the role of Ulahannan in the movie. The director feels that Mohanlal is the only actor from the current slot, who perfectly fits into the character.

The actor has totally adapted to the character, and it is well-evident in his performance in the movie. Mohanlal has recently watched the film, along with his best buddy Priyadarshan and brother-in-law Suresh Balaje.

He is totally impressed with the final output and congratulated director Jibu Jacob, by stating that the movie was a magnificent experience. Jibu remarked that it is one of the biggest compliments he has ever received in his career.

The team decided to rope in Meena for the role of Ulahannan's wife Anniyamma, considering her exceptional onscreen chemistry with Mohanlal. Even though director Jibu was initially reluctant to cast Meena, he later realised that she is the best choice.

Aima Sebastian, the Jacobinte Swargarajyam fame actress and child Sanoop Santhosh, who essay the roles of Ulahannan and Anniyamma's kids Jiny and Jerry, are also said to be playing very important parts in the film.

Prithviraj And Narain Are Back Together...

Prithviraj and Narain, the Classmates fame actor duo is all set to join hands once again. As per the latest reports, Prithviraj and Narain will share the screen once again in the upcoming movie Adam.
The movie, which marks the directorial debut of scriptwriter Jinu Abraham, is said to be an out-and-out romantic thriller. Prithviraj will essay the central character Adam John Pothan, a planter in Adam.

Narain will appear as Syriac, who was Adam John's best friend during his graduation days at CMS College, Kottayam. Interestingly, CMS College was also the backdrop of the duo's most popular film, Classmates.

The movie depicts how Adam John and Syriac meet each other in Scotland after a long break, after parting ways post their graduation. The movie will be widely filmied in Scotland, Kochi, and Mundakkayam.

Bollywood actress Mishti Chakraborty and Bhavana essay the female leads. Adam will also have Siddhique, Rahul Madhav, Jaya Menon, etc. in the pivotal roles in the movie, which is produced by Mass Media Productions.

Adam is the fourth association of Prithviraj and Narain, who first associated for Classmates. The duo last shared the screen Lal Jose's medical drama Ayalum Njanum Thammil, which earned wide appreciations from all over.

Dileep to have three looks in his comedy thriller...

He played a pivotal role in putting an end to the film exhibitors' strike and now, Dileep is back to entertain the audience with his antics on screen.
The actor will be working next with director Jayasurya, who made the film Speed Track with him in 2007. A suspense thriller with plenty of humour, the film is also scripted by the director. It will go on floors in August 2017.

"Dileep's character is named Jack in the story," says Jayasurya, who adds that he is a crook and a conman. "He presents himself as a businessman and a handicraft exporter. He puts on different guises to con people. Thus, he will be seen in three looks in the film."
The film has an urban setting and Dileep's looks will be stylish. "The movie is about how the protagonist brilliantly executes a plan that he has in his mind. He gets things done his way in a hilarious manner but the film's humour isn't forcibly created by comedians," says the director.
The movie, which is untitled as of now, has Ernakulam, Goa and Trivandrum as its main locations.

Mohanlal’s Pulimurugan Overtakes Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan...

Recently, the Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan completed 100 days of its run in theatres in Kerala. The movie, which completed 40,000 shows in Kerala alone, did set a record in its name.

The movie has been cruising ahead not only in India, but also in gulf countries, as well. Pulimurugan, which was released on November 3, 2016 in UAE/GCC centres, recently completed 75 days of its run over there.
In the due course, the film has overtaken Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan, to become the third most running film at the UAE theatres. Bajrangi Bhaijaan ran for 75 days in the theatres of UAE.

Pulimurugan has crossed the 75 days mark and even after these many days, the film manages to draw huge crowds to the theatres.
Mohanlal starrer Drishyam, which ran for 125 days in UAE theatres is still sitting pretty at the top spot. Hollywood movie Titanic, which completed 110 days of run over there, is at the second spot.
Now, we have to wait and see whether Pulimurugan will be able to break the records of these movies or not.
Meanwhile, Mohanlal starrer Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol has hit the theatres across India. The film is one of the big releases of this year.

Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol Box Office First Day Collections: Beats Jomonte Suvisheshangal...

Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, the Mohanlal movie has made a grand opening at the box office. The movie, which is directed by Jibu Jacob, has beaten the initial day collection record of Jomonte Suvisheshangal.

As per the latest reports from the trade experts, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol has made an initial collection of 3.09 Crores from the Kerala box office. Jomonte Suvisheshangal had made an initial collection of 2.71 Crores.

Reportedly, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol has made a net collection of the 2.58 Crores, and share of 1.46 Crores. However, the movie failed to break the initial collection record set by the Mohanlal-Vysakh movie Pulimurugan.

Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, which is a complete family entertainer, stars Meena in the female lead. The movie has been receiving excellent reviews from both the audiences and critics and has already been declared as a blockbuster.

If things proceed at the same rate, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol will succeed in entering the prestigious 50-Crore club, thus becoming the third Mohanlal movie to cross the mark at the Malayalam movie box office.

The movie, which is based on VJ James's short story Pranayopanishad, is scripted by M Sindhuraj. Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol is produced by Sophia Paul, under the banner Weekend Blockbusters.
