Driving an autorickshaw was fun: Aparna Balamurali...

The bold girl tag wouldn't leave Aparna Balamurali anytime soon, proves her choice of projects.
The Maheshinte Prathikaaram actress, who recently stepped into Tamil too playing a fearless journalist, will drive an autorickshaw in her next film, Thrissivaperur Kliptham. The film, scripted by P S Rafeeq, has Ratheish Kumar helming it.
Rafeeq says, "Aparna's character is a bold autorickshaw driver in the film and her name is Bhageerathi. She drives around in Thrissur town and is quite a daredevil. There are also a few men in the locality who fall for her, but she isn't in a mood for romance." Asif Ali is the male lead in the movie, which also has North Indian actress Shilpi Sharma in a pivotal role.
The actress, whose character drives around an old model autorickshaw in the film, explains, "One of my co-actor's brother helped me pick up some autorickshaw driving skills. My vehicle in the film is the one for which you have to pull the kicker, unlike the new models." She says that initially, it was slightly tricky. "But I have shot a couple of scenes now as the auto driver and have not been facing any issues with driving the vehicle. I know how to drive a two-wheeler and car, but it was fun mastering some auto driving skills."
The actress has also been shooting for two Tamil films simultaneously, and is also part of the Anoop Menon starrer Sarvopari Palakkaran.
