I get all the SD channels and few HD channels at very nominal price from my cable operator. This is going to cost multifold now for the same number of channels. So a very big NO.

As a Sun Direct user its hard to digest the rule.Comparitively minor networks Discovery,Disney etc rates are fair. Star, Sun, Sony prices are expensive. Also Sony's bouquets are not satisfactory.Star bouqet combination is good. But while considering bouquets from all networks it becomes not affordable.

Broadcasters must feel o.k. with current revenue from MSO & advertisers..
If they try to extract more money from viewers, then TV viewers would migrate for Mobile viewing..

If they were to give 75 channels to pick (out of 100 as they quoted) for 130+GST, then it wouldve made sense.
