Resolution 1080p

Tata play hd box not showing a 1080p resolution but other dth hd like airtel support 1080p 50hz.it is a sales gimmick or really 1080p support in stb

It does improve especially the motions are more smoother in 1080p as compared to 1080i.. satellite hd channels are broadcasting at 1080i but with the 1080p option it is upscaling the picture

Bro almost all tataplay hd boxes supports upto 1080i whereas airtel, dish, d2h supports 1080p

Probably only Tata Play HD Transfer Box Supports 1080P.. i have set the same in my transfer STB

1080p is more picture clarity than 1080i , can we expect update 1080p tataplay in future ?

Only binge+ supports 1080p and humax box
Even in official site they are advertising as 1080i support only..I doubt they will add support for existing hd boxes

All broadcasters are broadcasting hd channels in 1080i 50hz but except tataplay hd box, all other dth have the option 1080p under resolution settings..it's kind of upscaling the image i.e. 1080i to 1080p
