Bachna Ae Haseeno also airing tomorrow, shiddat aired few days back tooo.... Rights of Kaminey, Udaan,,Rang De Basanti, Jodha Akbar,,Fashion, Heroine, Wake Up Sid, Oye Lucky Lucky Oye, Aamir etc... seem to have expired

But kaminey which is fully owned by utv it's rights should not expire

Dillagi (1997) which was renewed couple of days back now will be aired on prime afternoon slot this monday on Star Utsav Movies.

On Monday Star Gold will air non stop Akshay Kumar Movies all thru the day to celebrate his birthday

I too was thinking about the same but i believe if rights of these movies had not expired the surely it would have aired on Star Gold Select or atleast in watershed hours.....i think there must be some agreement signed while Disney acquired UTV that after certain period certain movies might movies will exit library and these would now be owned by Ronnie Screwala sir

True ,I remember watching The mummy Franchise on Star Gold .After that Sony bought it's satellite rights but I don't know which channel currently holds the right for old mummy Franchise,if someone knows please let me know

So what is also great about Disney-Star is that at various occasions it is airing some older bollywood movies exclusively on SD feed Star Gold / Star Gold 2 while during that period its HD feed is airing offbeat bollywood movies like Jaane Jaan, Tumse Na Ho Paega, The Big Bull etc..this helps use airtime on both channels more efficiently,,utilise its bollywood movie library in more effective manner and reach out to the target audience of such films in best possible manner.....While Star Gold Select is there to air critically acclaimed / meaningful cinema but airing some of these movies specially new ines on HD feed of flagship hindi movie channels is a great initiative to help widen viewership for such content.

Also Star Gold Select airs many classic retro bollywood movies too, had shared feedback with them regarding this back in 2022 and few months later they added few old classics in SGS library
