Discussion Satellite rights of Hindi movies

Viacom should try to sign deal with a production house which makes films at regular films rather than paying high price for dharma productions which only do around 2-3 films per year.
Anyways hope colors cineplex gets attention back with upcoming Road Safety cricket series. And they should try to arrange a film festival for mix of popular and niche films of their library during that time in that way their channel maybe back on getting more impressions.

Cheeni kum moves back to Sony through b4u.Telecasting on Monday morning on max.
Sunil Manchanda movies are going back to Sony now. Means Tere Naam, Prithvi, Paa, Kyon Ki can go to SPN. With a viewership point of view Sunil Manchanda movies are a great asset and besides some films Zee is not doing a great job.

Such a good film again not aired properly by all broadcasters though star india and zee still gave it some space to it on sd or hd chs at key time slots

This film acquisition is thru Eros. So Sony and Eros r building good rapport and this will give them many bollywood films... Just hope Sony Wah airs more bollywood films or a new ch is launched for post 2000 films

Well satellite or digital rights many times r with other actors or entities. Tere Naam satellite rights is surely with Salman Khan.

Chanatkar, Ram Jaane rights r with SRK
Eagle Films library control is with Red Chillies. In 2015 SRK signed a deal for Dilwale and his other Productions but at the last moment he canceled his other movies deals and instead gave Sony Eagle Films whole library from Star
