this is just a test software and will b downloaded only on slect stb's, actual version of the software will b released later after correction of bugs and other faults so do not worry

should i switch off D2h HD box for few days to avoid this update?

D2H gives option to skip the update, don't worry.

Last time update cam in standby mode and when i ON the box then it stats automatically.

I cant take any risk because this software is totally bad and slowish.

As my friend's STB got updated today and he told that wost software he had seen ever.

So i am going to POWER OFF my D2h box for 2/3 days.

2/3 day are enough or few more aur suitable?

So i dont want to take any kind of risk.

what would be minimum size requirement for USB drive (Pen drive or HDD)?

4 gb to 64 gb pen drive

first I have tried 2gb pen drive but nothing happened.... after that i have inserted 8gb pen drive it has come for start process... then started formatting and finally has come restart set top box..
