IN10 Media’s Bhojpuri Movie channel Filamchi has finally set its footprint upon pay Direct to Home (DTH) platform after launching as a pay channel in May. The broadcaster has signed a deal with Airtel Digital TV to carry Filamchi onboard its platform with the channel being added on Airtel’s platform earlier today.
Filamchi is now available on Airtel Digital TV at channel number 665. Bhojpuri movie lovers will have to shell out a nominal Rs 0.25 a-la-carte rate excluding 18% GST to watch the recently launched channel. Airtel Digital TV is the lone DTH operator as of now to carry the channel after IN10 Media exited DD Free Dish earlier this year with Showbox and Filamchi withdrawn.
Filamchi is also available on multiple Multiple System Operators in Bihar. The channel which has a extensive library of the popular and blockbuster Bhojpuri films can also be live streamed on Epic On.
For the unaware, IN10 Media back in April had introduced Apna EPIC Value Pack. Apna EPIC Value Pack offers Epic TV and Filamchi at a nominal rate of Rs 2 per month. With Filamchi landing on Airtel Digital and Epic TV already there on Airtel, the chances of Apna EPIC Value Pack debuting on Airtel Digital TV looks promising.
