Prasar Bharati on Monday resumed the receipt of applications for the allotment of vacant MPEG-4 slots on DD Free Dish DTH platform after briefly halting it on Saturday due to the change in terms and conditions of the e-auctioneer agency.

Prasar Bharati stated that there would be no change in the application process with applications to be submitted in accordance with the process detailed in the initial notice for the e-auction.

The last date for receipt of applications and an original demand draft for participation fee has however been extended up to 12 Noon 26th August 2020. The e-auction process will be started tomorrow at 01:00 PM with other terms and conditions remaining the same as prescribed in the notice intimating e-auction for vacant MPEG-4 slots.

Prasar Bharati in its notice on Saturday intimating the abeyance of e-auction process had said, “Due to change in terms & conditions of e-auctioneer agency, it is hereby informed that the receipt of applications from TV channels in above reference has been temporarily placed on hold. The revised terms & conditions along with application process will be intimated soon.”
