IN10 Media’s Hindi Music channel Showbox has seen a further reduction in its footprints across DTH operators after Dish TV dropped the channel from its platform including its second DTH brand D2h at the start of July. IN10 Media had earlier withdrawn Filmachi and Showbox from DD Free Dish at the start of June.

Showbox is now only available on Airtel Digital TV and Tata Sky only among other MSOs. The reach of Showbox has reduced massively after the exit from DD Free Dish with Showbox seeing a reduction in impressions by over 50% in the week post its exit. Showbox dropped out of Top 5 channels in Music genre completely .

Showbox had boarded DD Free Dish at the end of 2019 only, but has exited within months with IN10 Media likely to turn into a pay broadcaster soon. The broadcaster back in April notified Filmachi as a pay channel with the introduction of Apna Epic Value pack.

The broadcaster was expected to turn into a pay broadcaster from 1st July but the same hasn’t happened. IN10 Media is expected to launch Ishara TV and Gubbare with pamphlets of Apna Epic Value pack coming to the fray listing Gubbare and Ishara TV which are yet to launch.
