Tata Sky launches New Acquisition Offers for Karnataka

After launching a special acquisition offer for Tamil Nadu, Direct to Home (DTH) operator Tata Sky has followed suit and brought it in two new acquisition offers for Karnataka effective 27th May 2020. Tata Sky under its acquisition offer will provide a 6 month subscription to new customers from Karnataka/

Tata Sky Semi Annual Kannada Value pack and Tata Sky Semi Annual Kannada Value Plus pack will be available for HD Zapper connections being brought in Karnataka. The offer is only available for new customers in Karnataka and will be available only through the mSales app.

Semi Annual Kannada Value pack usually costs Rs 1880. Tata Sky is offering the 6 month Kannada Value pack with HD Zapper connection at a combo offer price of Rs 2799. To make the deal sweater, Tata Sky is offering the 6 month subscription at an effective price of Rs 1300 i.e. a Rs 580 or 30% discount.

Semi Annual Kannada Value Plus pack usually costs Rs 1878. Tata Sky is offering the 6 month Kannada Value Plus pack with HD Zapper connection at a combo offer price of Rs 2799. Tata Sky is offering the 6 month subscription at an effective price of Rs 1300 i.e a Rs 578 or 30% discount.

While the pricing is similar, the offerings in the pack is different. Semi Annual Kannada Plus offers 40 pay channels wherein Semi Annual Kannada Value Plus offers 74 pay channels.

The former offers 6 Infotainment & Lifestyle, 12 Kannada, 4 Tamil, 4 Telugu, 4 Urdu, 3 Kids, 4 Sports, 1 English News, 2 Hindi Movie, 1 Music, 2 Hindi News, and 2 Malayalam channels.

Whereas the latter offers 9 Tamil, 11 Infotainment & Lifestyle, 11 English News, 5 Kids, 12 Kannada, 8 Telugu, 6 Malayalam, 2 Urdu, 2 Music, and 2 Hindi News channels.
