Tata Sky has revised the price of the new SD Multi TV connection for its current subscribers. The HD Multi TV connection was earlier priced at ₹1399/-. The price revision seems to be due to the intense competition in the market.

The Multi TV HD box will now cost ₹999/- instead of the earlier cost of ₹1399/-. The DTH operator has cut the price by ₹400/-. Customers need to pay extra for the subscription basis on content. These are the one-time charges which include installation, activation, HD box, remote and 10-metre coaxial cable. The Multi TV charges will be different.
The Multi TV charges for SD Multi TV remains unchanged at ₹1299/- as it was changed just around a month ago. DreamDTH had last month reported that Tata Sky had reduced the price of its SD Multi Connection by ₹601/-.
Earlier SD Multi TV connection was priced higher than HD Multi TV connection to push users over HD before Tata Sky revised the price of its SD Multi Connection. The price revision last month had made the HD Multi TV connection costlier than SD Multi connection. However now after the price revision, HD Multi TV connection is cheaper than SD Multi TV connection as Tata Sky looks to push users to buy HD Multi TV connection.
To get a new secondary connection Tata Sky customers need to contact Customer service through Live Chat, Twitter or by calling to the toll-free number 1800-208-6633, after placing the request they will receive a call back to schedule the installation of secondary connection.
