TravelXP set to launch India’s First 4K channel ‘TravelXP 4K HDR’; A-la-carte MRP at Rs 30

Celebrities Management Private Limited (CMPL) is all set to launch India’s first satellite 4K channel with HDR ‘TravelXP 4K HDR’. The company has notified the launch of TravelXP 4K HDR in line with the TRAI regulations through the notification of a separate Reference Interconnect Offer (RIO) carrying TravelXP 4K HDR.

The channel will be available to pay-TV subscribers on a-la-carte basis at Rs 30 per month excluding taxes. CMPL will ofer distribution platform operators marketing incentive upto 15 percent apart from the normal distribution fee of 20 percent. The channel will be available in English, Hindi, Bengali, and Tamil according to CMPL.

The company had last month got the nod from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) to launch TravelXP 4K HDR. The channel will be uplinked from abroad onboard Measat 3B.

While the channel is yet to launch officially, we understand that the channel will be available on JioFiber from Day 1 in multi audio feeds. The launch of the channel is expected soon probably by this month end,
