What I understand news channels are having lesser income than gec which they make up by generating income from advertisers. News channels offer less price ranging from rupees five this is not the case with gecs.

is this will be enforced strictly from Oct 1 2013 that is only after three days from now.
I dont think so, as still channels are showing irritating numourous ads and started even L Shape ads during the shows. very worst and irritating and that covers almost 30% of screen.

I have read some where that a statement of the minister Manish Tiwari extending the deadline to December this year allowing the news channels to make up for the loss as pleaded by them. Coud not recollect where I read the article.
