This is ridiculous. You did recharge for plan recharge and expecting airtel to smartly change the plan by finding whether customer did knowingly or unknowingly. Lol. Its like recharging for 399 in Jio and expecting balance.
I Think You Did Not Understand The Whole Issue Here.

What's ridiculous is not even sending an SMS after simply changing his plan to another plan. Total disaster from Airtel and in complete violation of TRAI rules. In the old regime, they could do whatever they want, but now it's unacceptable, as the Customer chosen plans can be in any price point. And you are right, expecting Airtel to be smart is obviously laughable on our part, they have always been dumb and it looks like they will remain so.
From a developer perspective, things worked in the way they are designed :) From Airtel developers perspective it worked beyond their expectations :)

Simply applying packs purely based on assumptions without consulting subscribers is wrong.

My HD pack cost Rs 700 PM, suppose an user recharges for 2 months in advance for selected channels which cost Rs 350 PM would unknowingly endup selecting a wrong pack and the entire two month payment would be eaten-up within just 1 month based on assumptions.

Can abyone able to share the upp list, so we can know that if we recharge certain amount it will change iur pack as well. Further, we can see the list before recharge. So it’s easy method to sort out the problem.

It doesn't make any difference bro. 706 must be a upp. So the plan changed.
I Understand Your Point Bro. Just Answer This One. I Am Creating A Pack Under TRAI Rules For 706rs Per Month. If I Recharge Now 706, What Should Happen And What Will Happen..? You Cannot Say Me You Should Not Recharge For 706rs Unless Clear Instructions Are Provided Regarding That In The Recharge Section Of The Self Care.

Then you can't take Super star or kondattam pack. How a system will know that recharge is done knowingly or unknowingly?

If you'll recharge with 700 or 350 then your plan will not change. UPP are always between 1-4 & 6-9. Who does recharge with 358, 706 or 606? First time ever I've seen this. Every time normal pack users do recharges in multiple of 5.

Always do a recharge of 300, 305, 310 i.e in multiple of 5, your plan will not change.

You are asking the same thing, even after I posted how this could possibly be done.

The packs are changing even for rounded amounts like 500. Look at the other thread and see the posts.

Anyway, I think that's enough of arguments. Those who are supporting the way it's being done in Airtel currently can stay calm. Those who are opposing it can write to TRAI. I'm going to write it to TRAI, because I feel this is absolutely ridiculous in the new regime.
