You were clearly overpaying then. You could have got all those+ sports for less than 350 at least in Airtel. We were getting junk channels then but we were also getting all the useful ones at lesser price. Just like some free to air ones now.

I (most) like the HD channels nowadays. Past in₹ 600 I got minimum 40 channels. Now I reduce to 6.
See the calculation.
600/40= 15
291/6=48.5.
Past I watched a hd channel at ₹15

Why I want junk channels and pay

Because of these crap channels became pay

Soon all will reduce price and price will come down

Maybe true for Tatasky users.
SUN users were getting 8 HD Sports channels for ₹50/month.

But if we comes to regional channel viewers, it costs them around Rs.350 now for watching favorite 20 to 30 regional pay channels.
For the Same, they used to pay Rs.170 earlier.

Regional viewers are majority in our country comprises of daily wages labours & poor people, rural people, illiterates.
For them, television is the only source of entertainment..
