well sun outage problem is also happening in which pic freezes and does not come for few minutes but many time pic just goes away and comes back in few seconds, the second one is result of videocon d2h team doing some backend work

A agree because channels cannot go blank for hours
May be they are REPLACING old
Satellite recievers to new
Hope for the best

Yes I also noticed in some southindian channels i have noticed freezing in some channels and also in zee q channel at between 1pm to1:30pm

This is happening due to SUN OUT AGE most of the satellites are Effected so don't worry it will be ok within few days.During this period the signal loses + freezing is occur Both C band + Ku band channels effected.We are also facing in C band channels ,But only in weak TP's very high frequencies get less effected.

NOTE:- If your Signal or Channels goes off for a long time then may be their other reason like loose Dish alignment ,Cable problem loose connectors + faulty C/Ku lnb etc so pl check for that.
