TataSky has announced a exclusive acquisition offer for CAS Notified areas of Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata & Chennai.
According to this new offer, customers can purchase the SD box of TataSky by COD (cash on delivery) for an upfront payment of Rs 400. The Tata Sky account will have to be recharged with a minimum Rs 200 in order to activate the account. On activation of the connection, the subscriber’s account will be debited with Equated Daily Installments (EDI) of Rs.4 for a period of 365 days along with the daily subscription charges.

TERMS and CONDITIONS
- The EDI Offer: A Standard Tata Sky connection is available through any retailer who is stocking Tata Sky equipment or through the Tata Sky helpline through COD (cash on delivery) for an upfront payment of Rs 400. The Tata Sky account will have to be recharged with a minimum Rs 200 in order to activate the account. On activation of the connection, the subscriber’s account will be debited with Equated Daily Installments (EDI) of Rs 4 for a period of 365 days along with the daily subscription charges.
- Offer Period: 10 Oct 2012 until further notice at the sole discretion of Tata Sky.
- Only residents of the CAS Notified areas of Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata & Chennai are entitled to avail of this Offer
- This Offer is only for new Tata Sky subscribers (“You”). New Tata Sky subscriber means a subscriber who avails the Offer and activates his Tata Sky Service during this Offer Period.
- Tata Sky connections are also available without the EDI Offer.
- The EDI offer applies only to a Standard Tata Sky connection & not to a Tata Sky HD or Tata Sky+ HD connection.
- The EDI Offer is available only with the Supreme Sports Kids Pack Any other Non-Standard installation applicable on consumption of additional material will be chargeable & is not a part of the EDI Offer.
- Only a single Tata Sky Standard connection can avail of this Offer. The Offer is not open for MultiTV connections or to any add on connection of any Tata Sky subscriber.
- Existing Tata Sky subscribers cannot avail of this offer.
- Installation of the Tata Sky connection under the EDI Offer is subject to certain basic checks & validations by Tata Sky authorities. The decision to install & activate a Tata Sky connection, post the necessary validation, rests solely with Tata Sky and Tata Sky will not be obliged to offer any explanation for rejection by it.
- Having activated an EDI connection, You will not be allowed to upgrade to a Tata Sky HD connection or opt for any Long Duration packs or merge or transfer the account with any other already existing Tata Sky account until complete payment of the Equated Daily Installments.
- Tata Sky reserves the right at any time, without prior notice, to add or vary all or any of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part the Offer or to withdraw it completely.
- By availing the Offer, You hereby agree to comply with these terms and conditions and waive any right to claim ambiguity in these terms and conditions. You agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Tata Sky and its respective affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of its respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders and employees from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions, or any liability of any kind resulting from or arising from your or any third party’s use (or misuse) of the Offer.
- You acknowledge and agree that all disputes in relation to the Offer shall be subject to Mumbai jurisdiction.
- These terms and conditions are in addition to the Terms & Conditions of the Subscription Contract and if there are any inconsistencies between the two, these terms and conditions shall govern for the limited purpose as specified herein. These terms and conditions shall not constitute a modification or waiver of any other provision of the Subscription Contract. Terms used herein but not defined shall have the same meaning as assigned to them in the Subscription Contract.
