@rahul1117kumar bhai, u can even make use of even IVR/Whatsapp option to access the "Heavy Refresh" option.

If in any case u r still unable to see channels or face any other technical glitch or issue then simply connect with Airtel Digital TV Customer Care Desk over call or just tweet to "Airtel Presence" team highlighltng ur request/problem and they will take the needful action to resolve the same.

Bro is sports 18 HD showing activated or tick mark above Channel name showing for you in airtel app, its not showing activated for me.


Can anyone pls share HD identification top up code?

Just go to video settings on ur TV and select the 16:9 aspect ratio option . You might have selected the Screen Fit option which is causing this issue

Hi guys, I recently bought a new airtel digital TV connection. The box model is MIN 100. I issue I found with the display is that, for SD channels I can see black bars on either sides of the screen. For HD channels the display is matching. See attached pics.

This is seen when the resolution is set to 1080i or 1080p on airtel. When it is changed to 720p, the picture gets a bit zoomed and black bars go. But this would affect the HD experience as the resolution is compromised and a bit of screen is missed.

Anyone experiencing a similar behaviour? Is this specific to my box piece or common for the MIN 100 model?

Me too getting like this only, even though TV is in 16:9 ratio only. No need to worry about it. It's not stb fault.

There would b "picture size" or "aspect ratio" option listed under Video Settings menu of TV.
Incase there is no such option there is no other solution as box itself itself would be switching between screen fit (720p) and 16:9 aspect ratio (1080i, 1080p) ....also as such this issue causes no adverse impact in viewing experience.

If u have a wide screen TV set then on Many channels u would notice certain gap left on Top/Bottom, Left/Right side while content is being aired as it all depends on settings applied by the concerned broadcaster or sometimes even the content itself is made available in somewhat wrong aspect ratio by the vendor hence such black bars or gaps would be larger in size

It happens in my TV also. It's better to leave it as is. We will get used to it. It will zoom HD channels also, if we change aspect settings. It'll cut some portion of HD channels.

Yeah in Mitv it's called "Smart Stretch". While watching any channel, we need to press, in TV remote, middle/ok button>Settings>Device settings>Picture settings>Aspect Ratio>Smart Stretch. Note: HDMI CEC should be off.

MTV HD would just air the hindi feed of the matches which would air on Sports18 SD, Engliah HD feed of these matches will most likely be made available on Colors Infinity HD or Vh1 HD
