Airtel is testing time shift recordings / network recording feature in which users can record a show on airtel's server and play it through on demand enabled STB. No transponder space will be wasted for this purpose. It's through Internet only.

airtel should concentrate on how fast they can arrange ses-9 tps rather than this ridiculous thing.

This was a feature available in Airtel IPTV so mainly this is for the benefit of those who were auto migrated to ADTV after IPTV shutdown. Anyway since tps are not used I think this will be a good feature. Last 7 days of programming can be accessed at any time and will be free of cost initially. It will be called NPVR or network PVR.
