Try either of these solutions - Clear Cache/Data of app, Reset the app, Restart ur box, uninstall / reinstall the app , download latest software update for concerned app,

Already done all the things but not resolved may be Android 9 is not compatible with these apps or expert can comment or provide solutions

They should be compatible. Android 9 is not an obsolete OS yet from TV OS perspective.

Than can any one provide the solution. I also tried to play news channel on stb through z5 but not playing.

No. Just available mobile app and airtel xstream website. Even most other operator or other apps limit Live TV Channels feature to their mobile app/web version of the platform

It is always preferred to do factory reset after upgrade, in my experience it resolve some issues, previously. So try it.

On doing a factory reset, will the dth connection/account get restored automatically?
Will i have to contact adtv support to re-activate the box?

No. It will get restored automatically. Make sure you are connected to internet.
