Seeking Help Help me choose: Tata Sky Binge vs Tata Sky HD+

So, I am a TS HD customer. I mainly watch Sports in HD(Have subscribed to all of them). My parents, who watch TV most of the time, watches regional content.
I miss live sports almost all the time. So I would like to record or rewatch it, without resorting to just watching the highlights from Hotstar/Sony LIV.
I already have Amazon prime, Netflix, Hotstar Premium.
Apparently, Binge has this 7 day recap feature like Comcast Xfinity Set Top Box in the US. But is this feature available for all Sports channels?
And, as far as I heard, STB needs to be turned ON, if I want to record show using HD+ PVR. This is sometimes difficult for me since some events happen at like 4am, etc.

So which should I choose? Please help. I switched to TS HD, by reading the reviews here and asking help by creating a thread, and I am still satisfied with my decision. Hoping the same in this thread to.

to record shows/event, tata sky HD+ STB has to be on STANDBY mode, not ON mode. so it wont creste problem for 4am event.

you will miss recording only in two events
1) power failure considering no back-up generator
2) poor signal from satellite

Currently many option and alternative available for binge+ STB
1) Android TV
2) android BOX
3) watching app on mobile
4) Using chromecast/fire STICK

but no alternative for HD+ STB, except similar recoding stb from airtel( which someone was discussing is being discotinued) or other DTH.

so choose box according to requrement.
Its not cold coffee vs coffee (hot)
its tea vs coffee , or i would say TEA vs JUICE ( both fuild)

Regarding catch up,,, i think only those channel which are available on tata sky mobile app are available for catch up

In my opinion TS Binge+ is the best because:
Disadvantage of HD+ / HD+ PVR
1. TS HD+ / HD+ PVR is outdated.
2. Many features disabled (Web apps, Karaoke, VoD etc.)
3. Very expensive
4. Big STB
5. No online content

Advantage of HD+ / HD+ PVR
1. 500GB HDD ( not SSD )
2. Looks classy
3. Nothing else

Disadvantage of Binge+ STB
1. Need active Dish connection for OTT (can use own subscription also)
2. No storage medium ( except for OS and some user content )
3. UI could be more good ( not a big deal )
4. More than 1 channel recording, purchase Platinum Pack for Rs. 199/month

Advantage of Binge+ STB
1. Online content
2. Google Assistant
3. Android OS
4. Fast storage
5. Catch-up TV
6. Good interface ( all in one place )
7. Best DTH UI ( not the smart one )
8. Clean remote
9. Cloud recording
10. 2 USB ports
11. Phone remote ( IDK )

Thank you @saketk11 I forgot one advantage for TS Binge+ that is you can watch channels using internet during rains (no connection)
