I'm Still Ready To Work With Dulquer Salmaan: Prathap Pothen...

Prathap Pothen, the senior actor-director revealed that he has absolutely no issues with young actor Dulquer Salmaan. Prathap also stated that he is still ready to work with Dulquer if he is ready.The duo was supposed to team up for a love story, which was written by Anjali Menon. But the project was shelved at the last minute, due to Prathap's fallout with writer Anjali.According to the actor-director, he was absolutely unimpressed with Anjali Menon's screenplay. He had conveyed his feelings to the lead actor Dulquer Salmaan, during the initial stage of the making.

The director states that he wasted almost one year for the project, and is not ready to do a new project anytime soon. Prathap Pothen revealed his decision, in the recent interview given to a popular TV channel.

The actor-director also reacted to the controversy regarding his post about Mammootty in the interview, stating that he was honestly praising the megastar through his Facebook post.However, Dulquer Salmaan has not commented on the Prathap Pothen-Anjali Menon clash, yet. We hope that the senior actor-director will soon get another chance to work with Dulquer.

Pulimurugan Box Office: UK Collection Report...

Pulimurugan, the Mohanlal starring action thriller has already emerged as the highest ever grosser of the Malayalam movie industry. Now, the movie has also went on to conquer the UK box office.

According to the trade analysts, Pulimurugan has already emerged as the highest grossing Malayalam movie of UK box office. The movie has crossed 1-Crore mark at the UK box office, within just 5 days.

Reportedly, Pulimurugan has surpassed the UK collections of Dileep's Two Countries, to become the highest grossing Malayalam movie. The movie is expected to cross the 200K Pound mark at the UK box office.

The movie has already emerged as the highest grossing Malayalam movie at the New Zealand box office. It is also expected to surpass the record of Rajinikanth's Kabali, at the UAE-GCC market.

The trade experts also suggest that Pulimurugan will surely be able to break the collection record of Premam at the USA box office, to become the highest grossing Malayalam movie.

Within the first 35 days of its release, Pulimurugan made a total gross collection of about 105 Crores, from the worldwide market. The movie is expected to cross the 150-Crore mark soon.

Pulimurugan to release in Japan...

Pulimurugan is set to roar in other countries as well. Mohanlal's blockbuster will be released in Japan later this month.
Reports suggest that the movie will be released in Kawaguchi on November 20 and next in Kanagawa on November 26.
The movie recently became the first Mollywood film to cross Rs 100 crore in box office. This is Mohanlal's second film this year to cross Rs 100 crore after Janatha Garage.

Ranjith's next titled "Puthenpanam"...

Rumours were rife that Ranjith's next movie with Mammootty would be titled Vamban. However, the director informed us that that will not be the title of his upcoming movie.
Now, reports suggest that the movie will be called Puthenpannam (The New Indian Rupee) and it would revolved around the theme of black money. It's also touted to be an action thriller.
Mammootty, meanwhile, has a few days of shooting left of The Great Father, which is directed by debutant Haneef Mohammed, and is also a family drama cum thriller.

Nadirsha refused my request to act in his movie: Dileep...

The bond between Dileep and Nadirsha is well known in the Malayalam film industry. Both started out as mimicry artistes and have started out on the same foot, before diverging into different fields. The two are now coming together for a movie - Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan, which will be directed by Nadirsha and produced by Dileep. "We have worked together on mimicry audio cassettes under the name 'nad' - Nadirsha and Dileep. This will be our first attempt at a 100% commercial entertainer." But then, why didn't Dileep act in the film? "He didn't give me a chance," laughs Dileep. "He gave me only the role of a producer."
Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan stars Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Rahul Madhav in the lead roles.

Prithviraj's Aadujeevitham To Start Rolling In June 2017...

Aadujeevitham, the Prithviraj movie directed by Blessy, is one of the most anticipated upcoming projects of Mollywood. Now, it has been confirmed that the much-awaited project will go on floors in June 2017.
Director Blessy, who confirmed the news in a recent interview, revealed that the movie will be made in 3D format. He also confirmed that Aadujeevitham is a multi-lingual, which will be simultaneously released in Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi.

Prithviraj essays the central character Najeem in the movie, which is based on the renowned novel of the same name, written by Benyamin. The actor will be appearing in a totally different get-up in the movie.

The movie will have a technical team, which consists of some popular technicians from both the Indian and foreign movie platforms. Aadujeevitham is produced by the banner GA Film Company.

As per the reports, Prithviraj will start filming for Aadujeevitham, immediately after he completes the filming of epic drama, Karnan. The rest of the star cast and further details are yet to be revealed.

The actor was originally supposed to kick-start his directorial debut Lucifer, by March 2017. But as per the latest reports, the movie will be postponed to the second half of 2017, due to Prithviraj's busy schedule.

Mohanlal Launches Jagan Shaji Kailas's Kari...

Mohanlal recently released the debut music video of Jagan Shaji Kailas through his official Facebook page. The actor, who launched the music video, wished all success to his dear friend's son, through his post.Shaji Kailas, the father of Jagan, is the director of Mohanlal's several blockbuster movies, including Aaram Thampuran and Narasimham. The duo is also said to be planning to join hands for a new project, soon.It is the directorial debut of Jagan, who is the eldest son of Shaji Kailas and yesteryear actress Annie. Interestingly, the young film-maker was named after Mohanlal's character in Aaram Thampuran, Jagannathan.

Kari, which has already emerged as a sensation on social media, features Njan Steve Lopez fame Ahaana Krishnakumar. The music is composed by the renowned Kerala-based music band, Masala Coffee.

Jagan Shaji Kailas has earlier released a short film named Bandham, which was made as a part of his studies. Ezra Official Teaser Review: Horror Is Back...!

The official teaser of Ezra, the upcoming Prithviraj starring horror thriller directed by newcomer Jay K, is finally out. The teaser, which has a duration of 50 seconds, is thrilling, fascinating, and extremely promising.
Ezra official teaser hints that the movie will be a completely new experience for the Malayali audiences. From the teaser, it is evident that the movie will definitely stand out with its exceptional visuals and sound design.

Arya helps Shaam make his Mollywood debut...

Mammootty's The Great Father seems to have a lot of Tamil stars as part of its cast. After Arya and Sneha, Shaam of Lesa Lesa and Thillalangadi fame has been roped in by filmmaker Haneef Adeni.
Prithviraj was earlier rumoured to be doing the role, however, with the actor's schedule now packed with back-to-back films shot abroad, it opened doors for Shaam to do a special appearance as a police officer, says a source close to the production unit.
Shaam confirms that he is part of the movie. "I will be joining the team next week in Wagamon. I have been told it's a cameo. I am yet to discuss with the director what my role would be," he says.
The actor says that Arya, who plays the antagonist in the movie, suggested that he be part of the family drama cum thriller. "Arya is the main reason why I am doing the movie. We work out together and one day out of the blue, he told me, 'You need to do a Malayalam film. There's a nice role and I think you would be perfect for it.'"
While the upcoming movie, which also has Malavika Mohanan and Miya in pivotal roles, would mark Shaam's Mollywood debut, Shaam says, "I was supposed to do a full-length movie in Malayalam earlier. But for some reason, that hasn't happened yet."
The Great Father has one more week of shooting left, informs the source from the production unit. "There's a chase sequence and a song to be filmed which will be done in Wagamon and Thrissur in the forthcoming week," adds the source.

Dulquer Salmaan-Bejoy Nambiar's Solo Starts Rolling...


Solo, the Dulquer Salmaan project, directed by Bejoy Nambiar has started rolling. The movie, which is said to be a Malayalam-Tamil bilingual, is one of the most anticipated upcoming projects of Mollywood.
Dulquer Salmaan is said to be playing a very different role in Solo, which will be a never-seen-before movie experience for Malayalam cinema. The female lead and rest of the star cast are yet to be revealed.

Reportedly, the movie will be filmed as three schedules in Kochi, Mumbai, and Ladakh, respectively. The team is expected to reveal a first look poster of Solo, by the last week of November.

Bejoy Nambiar, who has already established himself as one of the most promising young film-makers of Indian cinema, is the former associate of veteran director Mani Ratnam. Solo marks the Mollywood debut of Bejoy.

After his last directorial venture Wazir, the director has been busy assisting Mani Ratnam for his upcoming venture, Kaatru Veliyidai. Bejoy has stated that he is trying a very fresh concept and narrative style, with Solo.

Dulquer Salmaan, on the other hand, has recently finished the filming for Sathyan Anthikad's Jomonte Suviseshangal. After completing Solo, he will join the second schedule of the upcoming Amal Neerad movie.
