Regarding HD picture quality

I have recently installed Airtel HD+ box at my home. Earlier i had Reliance Digital TV HD Box. I find that the clarity of HD channels on Big TV is way too superior than Airtel HD+ box. I believe that Big TV as well as Airtel is using MPEG4 technology. Still, why there is so much difference in quality ?

I think ur hardware or signal strength is worst...video quality and audio of hd channels is excellent in airtel than d2h and dishtv.pls inform this issue to cc they definitely solve this problem...

What about SD channel quality?huh
Those who have used both told there is inferior SD channel quality in airtel than reliance,but no difference in HD quality.
Check your signal strength and quality must be greater than 90% in both tuner for the best quality.

The quality of SD channels in Reliance Big TV is much better than Airtel.

Actually, i find much difference in HD quality inspite of having 40" TV. I literally found pixalations on Discovery channel HD.

I have both the Reliance Digital TV HD and Airtel Digital TV HD DTH service, on comparing I find SD picture quality on HD STB of Reliance Digital TV is just awesome and also HD picture quality is brilliant, no pixalations at all in any of the HD channels which is there in Airtel Digital TV. Although there is less number of HD as well as SD channels in in Reliance Digital TV.

The signal strength that i see is 70. But it should go above 90 right ?
