i think regarding - ACTIVE 3D and PASSIVE 3D should also be explained for people planning to buy 3d tv.
 
3D TV
There is very limited content available.
For streaming the 3d to Tv , It's require an average 10Mbps net connection.
If the quality of the 3D is poor, then we will feel head ache & eye strain.
Due to this lots of people hates that technology.
Note : I am having passive 3D

Passive 3D glasses are cheap (can't say full HD 3D - because each eye gets half picture)
Active 3D technology having minimal improvement in the resolution.(still the flickering can spoil the entertaintment)

Now 4k (4times HD) is catching up the eyes
In 4K we will get a descent 3D
Note : 4K watched the in the shop
