When is firmware update for HD STB?

dino bro, as madhan said, you can post the information whatever you know.. but use appropriate threads.. or create new thread to post the information.. mixing up the things will lead to a different discussion than the originally started one..

I feel you are promoting Videocond2h without actually comparing its quality with TataSky.

I shifted to VideoconD2H HD last week from TataSkyHD (I had for over 2 years). I am sure Videocon compresses its HD channels atleast 25% more than TataSky. TataSky was way better. SD channel quality is also lesser than TataSky.

But Videocon has more HD channels and this was the only reason I made the shift. And I don't regret it.

I am not sure about TataSky deblocking to dissolve pixels... but the channels look more compressed and pixelated in Videocon d2h. TataSkyHD is sharp and clear.

I am attaching a pic of my STB ver. Do I need to update my firmware? How do I do it?

I sent REF sms to videocon and restarted my box but no updates received. :huh

I guess these are found in settings under 'Satellite Management'. I need a secret code for this as 1234 and 0000 do not work.

Is there a common code for this or do I need to call Customer care?

I don't think this is the latest version.. I heard from another thread in DDF that Download ID 25 is the latest one.
