Direct to Home (DTH) operator Tata Sky’s chat services have been temporarily affected due to preventive measures to tackle the novel coronavirus.

Tata Sky chat services remain temporarily unavailable for its customers. On Tuesday, Tata Sky chat services were completely unavailable showing a downtime notice. The notice read as, “Thank you for reaching Tata Sky. Owing to the preventive measures to tackle COVID-19, our chat services are temporarily unavailable.”

Yesterday, the chat service was up but there were no associates to serve the customers. Tata Sky encouraged its customers to use the Tata Sky App/Website or Tata Sky Whatsapp features for all their queries. Tata Sky customers can easily drop/add packs in manage packs section on Tata Sky Mobile App.

With restrictions due to COVID-19, essential services including DTH, TV, and Telecom are running with minimal staff. Telecom operators have also encouraged customers to use their website and app to address their queries since call centers are working on a smaller roster.
