Eenadu Television Private Limited earlier this year surrendered 6 Non-News satellite TV channel licenses in the month of January 2022 whereas KCP Infra Limited (earlier KCP Engineers Private Limited) withdrew 2 News satellite TV channel licenses, as per the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB).
As per MIB, ETV on 7th January 2022 surrendered 6 TV channel licenses namely ETV Bal Bharat Gujrathi, ETV Bal Bharat Marathi, ETV Bal Bharat Punjabi, ETV Balya Bharat-Assamese, ETV Balya Bharat Bangla, and ETV Balya Bharat Odia. The TV licenses were allocated to ETV on 25th February 2020.

The company had back then bagged 14 TV channel licenses namely ETV Bal Bharat English, ETV Bal Bharat HD, ETV Bal Bharat Gujarati, ETV Bal Bharat Kannada, ETV Bal Bharat Marathi, ETV Bal Bharat Punjabi, ETV Bal Bharat Tamil, ETV Bal Bharat Telugu, ETV Bal Bharat Malayalam, ETV Balya Bharat Assamese, ETV Balya Bharat Bangla, and ETV Balya Bharat Odia.
Additionally, KCP Infra Limited on 19th January 2022 withdrew 2 TV channel licenses namely Update News and Update TV. The TV licenses were allocated to KCP Infra on 5th November 2020. The company had back then bagged 4 TV channel licenses namely Update News, Update TV, Update Kids, and Update Music.
