Sidharth TV Network’s Jay Jagannath channel coming soon on your TV

Pay broadcaster Sidharth TV Network is all set to expand its channels offerings soon with the launch of ‘Jay Jagannath’ channel. The broadcaster on Friday released a promo of the upcoming channel through its Sidharth Bhakti YouTube channel stating that the channel is coming soon on your television sets.

The channel is dedicated to millions of Odia’s Maudamani Mahaprabhu Sri Jagannath as per the broadcaster. The broadcaster hasn’t yet offered any clarity over the pricing of the channel. The channel is also not mentioned in Sidharth TV Network’s recent Reference Interconnect Offer effective 1st January 2022.

Sarthak Music Private Limited had last year received the nod from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) for the renaming of its existing TV license ‘Sidharth Music’ as ‘Jay Jagannath’ paving the way for the broadcaster to launch the channel.

The Ministry had on 5th August 2021 ranted Sarthak Music Private Limited a fresh TV channel license named ‘Sidharth Music‘ in the ‘NON-NEWS’ category with permission to uplink and downlink. The TV channel license was later renamed the same month by the MIB. The TV channel license has the authorization to operate in Odia, English, and Indian scheduled languages. The TV channel license is now called ‘Jay Jagannath’.
