Discussion Satellite rights of Hindi movies

My EPG for Airtel screwed me up then. But those Keshu Ramsay movies are getting less airtime on Star channels nowadays.

Star Network usually rests movies after prolonged run or airs them less frequently maintaining bigger gaps. Also post Disney takeover lot many fresh films getting added in their library every few months

But zee and colors cineplex adds fresh movies every week specially Bollywood movies. Dil bechara and tanhaji are in repeating mode for now.

Bro Tanhaji got massive trp on its star gold premier, it defeated Good neewz on its premier and become the top viewed movie of that week, I think tanhaji being a big movie will give good repeat value and it's worthy for star gold to pay such a huge amount as SATELLITE rights amount which will fetch better returns until and unless they ruin it like war, but lets hope that they won't do it :

Regarding ur Dil bechara point currently they have full right to play sushant singh rajput movies as many as times as possible.

Bro I can understand ur point but dil bechara is the last film of SSR if the keep repeating now it will effect tomorrow by struggling for trp and not only war star ruined all their films like singham series baaghi 2 from time star started repeating its struggling for TRP except wtp no other film can give good trp to star. Bro do u know for this trp how star gold struggled and I agree today tanhaji gets massive trp but by repeating if trp goes down what will be next its very difficult to star for handling movies already they ruined lots of movies if star airs singham series no.1 series baaghi 2 etc etc as I a viewer change the channel immediately.sony max breaks all trp records on KGF chapter 1 wtp..
