Star is definitely the looser, they are forced to sell tv rights, in few months of time they invested almost 50000 crore in icc, ipl, australia cricket rights. By selling icc tv rights they will recover some amount & invest in other acquisition like movies, tv series, hotstar original

I don't think sony will able to telecast this in channel with name starting with sony, maybe after merger sony will change name of 1 or 2 sports channel to zee or zee sports will be launched separately
